Blue Skies
This painting is inspired by my daily beach walks and looking at the way the sky changes colours. There is a freedom in this painting ~ almost a letting go of the need for control over the colours and letting them float around and find their way onto the canvas in that cloudy ocean mix.
I’m never really sure where the painting is going to go ~ but I love the way this painting feels like an inner voice inviting the viewer to be present, and to let go. It’s a reminder to embrace the day because the sky is blue and the day is beautiful!
