Darwin Garden
I am always inspired by walking in my garden, finding fresh flowers coming onto the hibiscus bushes or the fresh frangipanis after the dry season. This painting is about mixing the colours and letting creativity flow naturally as I spend time reflecting on these walks and loving the new blooms of native hibiscus collected from morning coastal walks. I have used a combination of blooms in this painting: the native hibiscus which is a smaller, saffron yellow bouquet with the softest of pink hibiscus.
