Golden Magic
Never really sure where a collection is going to go when it begins. There is a definite freedom in this collection that comes out of real experiences ~ it is not forced… t is just flowing out from feelings of watching the sunsets and sunrises and taking long walks along the beach collecting the inspiration.
This painting is the colours at sunset that wash over the sky and change in minutes from saffron golden yellow and wheat then bringing in the salty burnt orange and the pinks. I have used layers of colours wrapping and flowing onto the canvas. The ocean can often reflect the clouds colours with hints of sorbet pastels over the darkening water.
