Morning Sand
A tropical collection of shells on the morning sand. I love the way this painting transports you back to the ocean. I have used to softest of colours here mixing the vanilla with buttermilk colours and yummy mascarpone and latte whites and beige colours bringing that cosy and warm feeling. My shell paintings for my ‘Windows into Darwin Collection’ are essentially a collection of all my beach walks; all the experiences and emotions.
I feel that shells hold all those sunsets and sunrises ~ the cool ocean breezes and quiet conversations beside the shore …those gazing into the water with sandy toes moments.I hope this painting connects with your own experiences…bringing them into your mind…in a cosy and welcoming way!
