Morning Wattle
I am working with a softer colour palette for The Bush Garden Collection of paintings ~ My focus is on capturing the essence of the bush, and the experience of walking among these wildflowers after the rain ~ sometimes in the rain!
This painting highlights the iconic Australian wildflower as she blooms n the bush garden after the rain. I love the way the rain often soaks the delicate flowers of the wattle and then they seem to glisten in the sunshine as it reappears…filling the bush with new wattle flower grow the and bring out the softest pinks and sea foam greens of the eucalyptus trees surrounding.
This piece invites you into the bush and encourages you to make connections with your own experiences of bush walking ~ It might link you with your experience of seeing the Australian bush flowers in an urban garden setting, at the markets or in a florist. I hope this work resonates with you soul and you feel drawn into the beauty and wonder of the Australian bush and love it as much as I do!
