Morning Wattle
I am working with a softer colour palette for The Bush Garden Collection of paintings ~ My focus is on capturing the essence of the bush, and the experience of walking among these wildflowers after the rain ~ sometimes in the rain!
This painting highlights the iconic Australian wildflower as she blooms n the bush garden after the rain. I love the way the rain often soaks the delicate flowers of the wattle and then they seem to glisten in the sunshine as it reappears…filling the bush with new wattle flower grow the and bring out the softest pinks and sea foam greens of the eucalyptus trees surrounding.

…I always have to have the flowers that I am painting in the studio to help with the colours and energy that goes into each painting. For this painting it is the wattle!
